Price changes in Netia's “Special 1055” tariff plan


WARSAW, Poland – March 1, 2005 – Netia SA (“Netia”) (WSE: NET), Poland's largest alternative provider of fixed-line telecommunications services, today announced that as of March 1, 2005, the fixed-to-mobile prices in “Special 1055” tariff plan for Telekomunikacja Polska customers using Netia 1055 service will be decreased. Moreover, the international long-distance prices in this tariff plan will also be decreased as of April 15, 2005. “Special 1055” is a tariff plan with a per-second billing.
 
The prices of fixed-to-mobile connections per minute in “Special 1055” tariff plan will be decreased during peak hours from PLN 0.87 net (PLN 1.06 gross) to PLN 0.82 net (PLN 1 gross), as well as during off-peak hours from PLN 0.75 net (PLN 0.92 gross) to PLN 0.70 net (PLN 0.85 gross). These price changes will be introduced as of March 1, 2005.
 
The prices of international long-distance connections (“ILD”) per minute in “Special 1055” tariff plan will be changed as of April 15, 2005. For example, the prices of ILD connections to fixed-line numbers in the EU (Germany, UK, etc.) and USA will be decreased from PLN 0.87 net (PLN 1.06 gross) to PLN 0.60 net (PLN 0.73 gross). The prices for connections set up via VoIP will be changed as well and become equal to prices of connections set-up directly via 1055 prefix.
 
The minimum charge in “Special 1055” tariff plan will be decreased from PLN 450 net (PLN 549 gross) to PLN 150 net (PLN 183 gross).
