Court dismissed the motions of Millennium and its related parties requesting the invalidation of a shareholders’ resolution
WARSAW, Poland – February 8, 2006 – Netia SA (“Netia” or the “Company”) (WSE: NET), Poland's largest alternative provider of fixed-line telecommunications services, announced today that the Appeal Court in Warsaw decided on February 7, 2006 to dismiss the claims filed by Millennium Communications SA and Genesis Sp. z o.o., a subsidiary of Millennium Communications SA, requesting the invalidation of a resolution on Netia’s merger with certain of its wholly-owned subsidiaries adopted by the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held on October 30, 2003 (see Netia’s press release dated June 3, 2004). The ruling is final and binding.
