Results of Novator's tender offer for the sale of Netia shares
WARSAW, Poland – January 17, 2006 – Netia SA (“Netia”) (WSE: NET), Poland’s largest alternative provider of fixed-line telecommunications services, today announced that on January 16, 2006, it received from Novator Telecom Poland II S.a.r.l., with its seat in Luxembourg (“Novator”), the information that in response to Novator’s tender offer for the sale of 52,204,740 Netia’s shares announced on December 16, 2005, pursuant to art. 72 sec. 1(2) of the law dated July 29, 2005 on the public offer and the terms of introduction of financial instruments to organized trading system, and public companies, the investors made the subscriptions for the sale of 246,477,701 of Netia’s shares.
