Changes within Netia’s supervisory board
WARSAW, Poland – January 9, 2006 – Netia SA (“Netia” or “Company”) (WSE: NET), Poland’s largest alternative provider of fixed-line telecommunications services, announced that on January 9, 2006 its supervisory board unanimously appointed Mr. Hubert Janiszewski, Netia’s supervisory board member, for the position of Chairman of the Company’s supervisory board, with immediate effect.
In addition Netia informed that on January 9, 2006 Mr. Richard Moon, member of Netia’s supervisory board, resigned from his position, effective January 15, 2006.
