Resignation of Netia’s Supervisory Board Chairman
WARSAW, Poland – January 5, 2006 – Netia SA (“Netia” or “Company”) (WSE: NET), Poland’s largest alternative provider of fixed-line telecommunications services, announced that on January 5, 2006 Mr. Nicholas Cournoyer, Chairman of the Company’s Supervisory Board, has resigned from the position of member and Chairman of the Company’s Supervisory Board with immediate effect.
