Netia announces changes in tariffs


WARSAW, Poland - March 26, 2001 - Netia Holdings SA (Nasdaq: NTIA, WSE: NET), Poland's largest alternative fixed-line telecommunications services provider, today announced changes in its telecommunications tariffs to become effective on May 1, 2001.

The changes apply to an increase in monthly fees as well as a decrease in installation fees and charges for domestic long distance calls. The Netia Blue Plan continues to match TP S.A.'s tariff while the Netia Green Plan combines a slightly higher monthly fee with lower usage charges.

New charges, effective as of May 1, 2001, are as follows:

Installation fee (net of VAT):
200 PLN for 1st and 2nd line and 1 PLN for additional lines in Blue and Green Plans.


Monthly subscription fee (net of VAT):

Blue Plan: increase from PLN 25 to PLN 35
Green Plan: increase from PLN 28 to PLN 38

Charges per 1 minute for domestic long distance calls (net of VAT):


8am - 6pm weekdays
8am - 6pm weekends & holidays
6pm - 8am all days

In addition, effective on May 1, 2001 Netia will change the monthly subscription fees for its ISDN services as follows (net of VAT):

ISDN Superlinia: increase from 36 PLN to 40 PLN
ISDN Superlinia Plus: increase from 40 PLN to 44 PLN

Charges per one minute on domestic long distance calls for ISDN services will change in accordance with Netia's new Green Plan.
