Resignation of Netia’s Supervisory Board Chairperson
WARSAW, Poland – March 21, 2007 – Netia S.A. (“Netia” or “Company”) (WSE: NET), Poland’s largest alternative provider of fixed-line telecommunications services, announced that on March 21, 2007 Ms. Alicja Kornasiewicz, Chairperson of the Company’s Supervisory Board, has resigned from the position of Chairperson and member of the Company’s Supervisory Board with immediate effect.
The resignation was submitted due to extensive scope of duties which will not allow for devoting sufficient time for proper execution of duties of the Chairperson for Netia’s supervisory board.
