Netia’s rating from Standard & Poor’s
WARSAW, Poland – June 1, 2007 – Netia SA (“Netia” or the “Company”) (WSE: NET), Poland’s largest alternative provider of fixed-line telecommunications services, announced that on June 1, 2007 Standard & Poor’s lowered Netia’s long-term corporate credit rating to “B” from “B+” (range from AAA to D); the outlook is negative. The change in rating follows the Company’s new broadband strategy, which will require capital expenditures that will place pressure on Netia’s free operating cash flow profile.
