Fulfilment of the suspensive condition of a material agreement (3/2008)
WARSAW, Poland – January 17, 2008 – Netia SA (“Netia”) (WSE: NET), Poland’s largest alternative provider of fixed-line telecommunications services, today announced with reference to its press release dated December 8, 2007 that China Development Bank gave its consent to the service provision agreement (“Agreement”) concluded on December 7, 2007 by and between Netia and P4 Sp. z o. o. with its seat in Warsaw (“P4”). Thereby the suspensive condition the Agreement had been dependent upon was fulfilled.
The Agreement provides for cooperation with respect to the distribution of Netia’s and P4’s services, performed by Netia in its own name and on its own behalf.
Written consent of China Development Bank was delivered to Netia on January 16, 2007.
