Resignation of a Supervisory Board Member (19/2008)
The Management Board of Netia SA (the “Company”) announces that on 10th April 2008, Mr. Wojciech Sobieraj, Chairman of the Company’s Supervisory Board, resigned from his position as Chairman and member of the Supervisory Board. The resignation is effective from the date of the next Annual General Meeting of the Company.
Mr Sobieraj stated that his resignation was due to the excessive scope of his professional activities, which would not allow him to dedicate sufficient time resources towards the proper performance of his duties as Chairman of the Company’s Supervisory Board.
The Company’s Management Board would like to thank Mr. Wojciech Sobieraj for his commitment and valuable contribution to the development of the Company during his service as the Chairman of the Company’s Supervisory Board.
