Resignation of Netia’s management board member (30/2008)
WARSAW, Poland – June 6, 2008 – Netia SA (“Netia” or “Company”) (WSE: NET), Poland’s largest alternative provider of fixed-line telecommunications services, announced that on June 5, 2008 Mr. Piotr Czapski, Strategy and Business Development Director, after three and a half years at Netia has resigned from the position of member of the Company’s Management Board with effect on August 22, 2008. Mr. Piotr Czapski will be joining leading Scandinavian private equity group EQT as partner and head of EQT’s office in Warsaw with responsibility for operations in the CEE countries.
