Netia signs new managed services contract with Ericsson (30/2010)
WARSAW, Poland – August 12, 2010 – Netia SA (“Netia” or “Company”) (WSE: NET), Poland’s largest alternative provider of fixed-line telecommunications services, announced that today Netia signed a three-year managed services contract with Ericsson, as an update to the existing managed services contract signed on April 28, 2006 (see Netia’s press release dated April 28, 2006) (an “Agreement”). The contract covers maintenance and management of the Netia Group’s networks, as well as the support in the provision of services to Netia Group’s residential and business customers. The Agreement covers the same scope of cooperation as the previous agreement from April 2006 while modifying certain pricing and operations parameters (KPIs) of providing services to the Netia group by Ericsson. The Agreement covers the period until July 31, 2013. The total value of the transaction does not exceed 10 per cent of Netia’s total equity as at June 30, 2010.
In parallel with signing the Agreement, the previous managed services contract between the parties dated April 28, 2006 was dissolved.
