Netia's Chief Executive Officer to resign by August 31, 2014 (8/2014)


WARSAW, Poland – February 20, 2014 – Netia SA (“Netia” or “Company”) (WSE: NET), Poland’s largest alternative provider of fixed-line telecommunications services, announced today that on February 19, 2014 Netia’s Chief Executive Officer, Mirosław Godlewski, in agreement with the Supervisory Board, decided to stand-down from his position leading the Company’s Management Board by no later than 31 August.

The Supervisory Board thanked Mirosław Godlewski for his leadership over seven successful years, during which time the Netia Group has more than doubled in size and cemented its position as Poland’s leading fixed line alternative operator. Mirosław Godlewski has contractually agreed to remain in his position while the Supervisory Board search for a suitable replacement and will stand down from the Management Board on 31 August, 2014 or earlier if his replacement is able to take over his responsibilities at an earlier date.
