Information on purchase of Netia's shares (25/2014)
WARSAW, Poland – May 5, 2014 – Netia SA (“Netia”) (WSE: NET), Poland’s largest alternative provider of fixed-line telecommunications services, announced that it has received a notification filed by Mennica Polska SA that the number of Netia shares held by Mennica Polska SA and its subsidiary Mennica Polska Spółka Akcyjna Tower Spółka Komandytowo Akcyjna has exceeded 5% of the total number of votes at the general meeting of Netia’s shareholders.
According to the notification, the 5% threshold was exceeded as a result of purchase transactions of 6,300,000 Netia shares effected by Mennica Polska SA on the Warsaw Stock Exchange on April 30, 2014.
Mennica Polska SA and its subsidiary Mennica Polska Spółka Akcyjna Tower Spółka Komandytowo Akcyjna jointly hold 17,400,000 Netia shares, representing 5,00% of Netia’s share capital and entitling the holders thereof to exercise 17,400,000 votes at the general meeting of Netia’s shareholders, which represents 5,00% of the total number of votes at the general meeting of Netia’s shareholders, of which:
Prior to the above transactions, Mennica Polska SA held no shares in the Company.

Mennica Polska SA and its subsidiary Mennica Polska Spółka Akcyjna Tower Spółka Komandytowo Akcyjna jointly hold 17,400,000 Netia shares, representing 5,00% of Netia’s share capital and entitling the holders thereof to exercise 17,400,000 votes at the general meeting of Netia’s shareholders, which represents 5,00% of the total number of votes at the general meeting of Netia’s shareholders, of which:
- Mennica Polska SA holds 6,300,000 Netia shares, representing 1.81% of Netia’s share capital and entitling the holders thereof to exercise 6,300,000 votes at the general meeting of Netia’s shareholders, which represents 1.81% of the total number of votes at the general meeting of Netia’s shareholders,
- Mennica Polska Spółka Akcyjna Tower Spółka Komandytowo Akcyjna holds 11,100,000 Netia shares, representing 3.19% of Netia’s share capital and entitling the holders thereof to exercise 11,100,000 votes at the general meeting of Netia’s shareholders, which represents 3.19% of the total number of votes at the general meeting of Netia’s shareholders.
Prior to the above transactions, Mennica Polska SA held no shares in the Company.
