Resignation of Netia’s Supervisory Board member and appointment of a new Management Board member (30/2015)
WARSAW, Poland – May 19, 2015 – Netia SA (“Netia” or the “Company”) (WSE: NET), Poland’s largest alternative provider of fixed-line telecommunications services announced that today Ms. Katarzyna Iwuć resigned from her position of Netia Supervisory Board member with immediate effect. Simultaneously, Netia Supervisory Board appointed Ms. Katarzyna Iwuć as member of the Management Board and Chief Financial Officer, effective May 19, 2015.
Ms. Katarzyna Iwuć served as member of Netia’s Supervisory Board from May 21, 2014 and as member of Netia Supervisory Board’s Audit Committee from May 27, 2014. Currently, she holds the positions of member of the Management Board and CFO in Mennica Polska SA (from October 2013) and Mennica Polska od 1766 Sp. z o.o. (from January 2014), and serves on the Supervisory Board of Mennica Metale Szlachetne SA (from February 2014). Earlier, she gained her professional experience as accountant, chief accountant and audit manager, partner from the financial audit companies.
Ms. Iwuć graduated in Finance and Banking from the University of Economics in Wrocław and defended her PhD thesis on the financial instruments accountancy. She is also Chartered Auditor.
Ms. Iwuć does not conduct directly or through legal entities any activities that would compete with the activities of Netia or its subsidiaries. She is not a partner in civil law company or any partnership, nor a member of any authorities of any corporation or any other legal entity that competes with the activities of Netia. She has not been registered in the Non-Solvent Debtors Register kept pursuant to the National Court Register Act.
