(Nasdaq: NTIAQ/NTIDQ, WSE: NET), Poland's largest alternative provider of fixed-line telecommunications services, today announced that on August 30, 2002, the following resolution of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of the Company was adopted:
Resolution No. 1
The General Shareholders' Meeting hereby resolves that the mandates of the members of the Supervisory Board of Netia Holdings S.A. appointed by the General Shareholders' Meeting of Netia Holdings S.A. in 1999, i.e., Jan Guz, Donald Mucha and David Oertle, shall expire in 2003 at the Ordinary General Shareholders' Meeting of Netia Holdings S.A. to be convened to approve financial statements of the Company for the financial year 2002.
