Netia management board member announces upcoming resignation


WARSAW, Poland – January 5, 2004 – Netia S.A. (“Netia”) (WSE: NET), Poland's largest alternative provider of fixed-line telecommunications services, announced today that it has been informed by Ms. Elizabeth McElroy, a member of Netia’s Management Board, about her plans to leave the Company at the end of February 2004. Until that time Ms. Elizabeth McElroy will continue to hold her current position of Chief Commercial Officer.
