New management board member of Netia
On September 6, 2007 Netia’s Supervisory Board appointed Piotr Buława, Sales Director, as member of the management board, effective immediately.
Piotr Buława, 40, joined Netia as Sales Director on June 11, 2007. He has many years of experience in marketing and sales management in large corporations and a public company. Prior to his employment with Netia, he served as Marketing and Sales Director and member of the management board in Winterthur Życie TU SA (from 2006). From 2000 to 2005 he was a co-creator of a market success of Polfa Kutno SA, a public pharmaceutical company, at which he served as Sales Director. Earlier, he worked for over seven years in Procter and Gamble, Poland, in various managerial positions within marketing and sales areas. Mr. Buława graduated from the Gdańsk Technical University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He also holds an MBA degree.
‘No doubt the sales experience of Piotr Buława and his achievements in other companies increase our chances on the broadband services market. Our goal is to acquire over 200,000 broadband clients by the end of 2007. I am convinced that the sales team under the leadership of Piotr Buława will make it happen,’ said Mirosław Godlewski, Netia’s CEO.
