Changes to Netia's Management Board

The Management Board of Netia SA informs that on July 31, 2014 Netia’s CEO Adam Sawicki presented to the Company’s Supervisory Board the development plans for Netia along with a new, simplified organizational structure. As a result, Netia’s Supervisory Board accepted the proposal of further reductions in composition of the Management Board.

Mr. Tomasz Szopa will be reporting directly to Netia’s CEO and will remain to serve as Residential Market (B2C) General Manager, but not as a board member, thus being able to fully concentrate on operational activities.
Furthermore, it is expected that a vacancy for a twin position of Business Market (B2B) General Manager, who will be also reporting directly to the CEO, will be filled in shortly.

Mr. Tom Ruhan resigned from his position as Chief Legal and Acquisition Officer and member of the Management Board. As the same time, he decided to leave the Company. I would like to thank Tom for the past years in Netia, much of which has happened during the particularly difficult but also very interesting time of creating the Polish telecoms market and related market regulation changes – said Adam Sawicki, Netia’s CEO.

The currently ongoing changes in the Company are part of preparations to enter into a new development phase, which is now under preparation and will be presented this September under the new strategy for the Netia Group – CEO added.
